Massage in action. A photography session in Amsterdam

Below you will find photos of a holistic massage in action. Masseur Drs Kees Kaldenbach has been photographed by Jeroen Leclercq, www.hollandfoto.com. This photoshoot took place on Easter day, 2006 min Amsterdam. All images are copyright and may only be used after written permission by Jeroen Leclercq and Kees Kaldenbach.

CrashBoom! While setting up the room, we moved a very large mirror in haste. It suddenly fell over and cracked into a thousand sherds in a brilliant pattern. We then decided to use it creatively as a visual element.

The female model's name is V, she studied in an art academy; the male model is Rob, who is a professional masseur as well.

MASSAGE THERAPIY AGAINST DEPRESSION

Psychologists at Illinois University have researched effectiveness of massage therapy. A series of visits to the masseur may reduce depression, anxiety and pain. Even single visits may help alleviating anxiety and pain and may reduce hypertension and a high heart rate.
