Nicolaes Dichter (dates unknown). He lived in in the Delft brewery named 'The World Upside Down" in which Fabritius also did murals. Nicolaes' widow sold the brewery on April 10, 1660 and stipulated that she could remove the "painting by Carel Fabritius" which was "nailed Fast" to the wall. This means that the painting was either on wood or canvas, not on plaster.
Another Fabritius mural was in the home of Vallensis.
