Phlips Angel or Philips Angel, Lof der Schilder-konst, published in Leiden, 1642. A facsimile of this treatise was printed in 1969 by Davaco Publishers and in 1972 another facsimile xerox edition was issued by The Kunsthistorisch Instituut, Universiteit van Amsterdam. A complete English translation can be found in the art history magazine Simiolus 24 (1996), 227-258.
