Pieter van Miereveld / Mierevelt (1596-1623), son of Michiel van Miereveld. Initially he lived at his father's house. In 1617 he painted the Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Willem van der Meer. The artists' portrait is the face which is seen from the side. Houbraken mentions a portrait which was painted as well as the work of his father.
