Reinier de Graaf (1641-1673). Active in Delft 1667-1673. Famous for his discovery and subsequent publication on ovarian follicles, 1673.

He realized the importance of the microscopes and promoted the contact between Van Leeuwenhoek and the Royal Society in London.
