Dirck Adriaensz van Brantwijck ( ?-1646). Saw mill owner, contractor, carpenter. He may have lived on the west side of Oude Delft. His collection comprised of paintings, drawings, prints, rarities and art books; art books have blank pages for storing loose prints and drawings. This entire collection was bequeathed to his brother-in-law Cornelis Joosten van 't Woud in 1646.

Montias Patrons/Bramer, p. 37 mentions his saw mill at Oosteinde. However the handbook on windmills in Delft Olst/Boekweit 1978, p. 72 states that the mill at Oosteinde was a corn mill, not a saw mill. Oude Delft GAD Huizenprotocol III 865 as "Hr van Brantwijck". GAD internet shows he was a witness on 8 Dec. 1633, DTB inv. 55 NK fol 137.
