Arnold Bon (before 1634-1691). Publisher and printer, entered the printer's guild in 1651. He was the official printer to the Magistrate between 1660-c.1690. Bon lived on the north side of Markt at number 38 in the house first called Montfoort and later Vinder van de Druckkonst (Inventor of Printing). Bon published many popular songbooks and Van Bleyswijck's famous book on Delft history (part I 1667; part II 1680) in which he published a laudatory verse about Vermeer and Fabritius.
