van der Wilt (1659-1733). Pupil of Jan Verkolje.
Portrait, genre and marble painter; also engraver; expert in
perspective. Entered St. Luke's guild after 1677, several times
headman 1690-1714. He lived on the east side of Koornmarkt and in
1729 the author Boitet in his History of Delft lists many of his
works in first rate Delft collections. Painted an Anatomy Lesson for
that Guild.
