October 2012. I assisted several US families, each one with a not too severe walking disability, this husband (photo above) in need of a wheelchair for walks longer than 4 or 5 minutes. I drove this family around Holland to places of interest. Here we are parking in Leiden, Holland VERY close to the center of town, in parking spaces specifically reserved for disabled travelers. Important: Bring your Disabled PARKING permit.

While visiting museums I pushed the wheelchair, discussed the art on view and we played Wheelchair-Tank. With a wheelchair in sight, everybody makes way. Graciously, people open doors. Remarkable, I noticed that elementary school children (in museums) are still oblivious to these special needs and do not hold doors. Note: before visting a museum it makes sense to RESERVE one of the museum wheel chairs.

Also Airport pickup in Amsterdam Schiphol airport and help with suitcases.

I can also push you through a historic town by wheelchair for limited distances.

Feel free to ask for help if you are using a wheelchair. See the famous Vermeer & Rembrandt & Van Gogh paintings in Amsterdam, Holland in a new light! Read client testimonials.
