Legal claim waiver

for Private Lectures & Private Guided Art Tours on Vermeer & Rembrandt & Van Gogh by art historian Drs Kees Kaldenbach, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Complete Listing of tours

In order to safeguard legal claims a paper print with the following agreement should be signed by both parties (both Kaldenbach and the client) at the initial stage:

1) The agreement will describe in key words the nature, duration and the amount of payment of the lecture and tour.

2) Kaldenbach will provide, upon the clients request, a lecture, which will take place either in Kaldenbach's home, or in a hotel room or at another fitting location. Afterwards there may be a transportation to another location and a guided tour. This transportation may be by public transport or by private car. This transportation is entirely at the client's risk.

3) For tours to Otterlo, Delft, The Hague and other such places, Kaldenbach may allow clients to join a ride in his private car. It is understood that this agreement does not form a taxi or minibus service or part of the paid service. The clients will all be asked and agree to sign a legal waiver in which they declare to consider the ride as a courtesy, not as part of the business agreement.

4) In case of mechanical breakdown, Kaldenbach will provide the cost for transportation back to the hotel by train or public transportation bus. Kaldenbach wil not reimburse taxi or minibus cost. Kaldenbach will not reimburse overnight stay.

5) The amount of the financial claim by the client shall not exceed the amount of the agreed sum for the entire programme.

6) Dutch law will be appliccable.
