October 2004: Kristien (just three months pregnant) and her girlfriend Karin came here for a pregnancy massage. After the initial talk and menu choices Kristien opted for a massage of the lower backbone, sacrum, and then the neck and shoulders. She was positioned on her side in order to safeguard the belly.

"When I was pregnant for 37 weeks I just about had had it. At my job it had been very busy and at home I spent my days cleaning from the beginnings of maternity leave. I figured it was about time to get some pampering and indulging, but I was unable to ride very far on my bike to go to a masseur.
Via Internet I found the pregnancy massage by Kees Kaldenbach and this appealed to me right away. Especially as Kees does home visits, I did not need to get my great belly out of the house. Upon his entry at home the contact was immediately there. I undressed while Kees set up his table. In a pregnancy massage one is positioned on the side, with a foam cushion supporting one leg. Regularly Kees asks what parts he should or should not massage, such as my belly, and whether there are requests, like foot massage. It is self evident from the massage that Kees is trustworthy and that he loves his work. After his massage I felt as if I was reborn. I felt wonderfully relaxes in this stressful time. Two days afterwards I went to the Midwife's office and the blood pressure was just perfect at 60/120.

Four weeks after the delivery both I and my husband felt like we needed a relaxing massage. Because of giving breast feeding I am bound to a strict schedule and thus it is so wonderful that kees comes to our home. We also needed no child care for our 3 year old daughter. Again this massage was wonderful. For these are hard times, with nights of broken sleep and taking care of two children is quite stressful. My husband was quite happy with Kees' massage and told me that he wanted repeat sessions." Esther.

Today I experienced the very first tears of joy... welling up slowly in my closed eyes, tears of abundance, goodness, wholeness, really for the first time in my life.
